Hi, I’m Bianca-Rae!

I’m a multi-award-winning portrait, event, and wedding photographer based on the stunning Kapiti Coast, Wellington, New Zealand. Over the past seven years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of photographing families, weddings, and major events internationally, from China to Dubai, capturing unforgettable moments for clients from New Zealand and Australia.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major in Photography from Otago Polytechnic School of Art, graduating in 2003, and have been passionate about creating beautiful, meaningful imagery ever since. From the very beginning, I’ve loved turning fleeting moments into memories you can treasure forever, often presented as incredible wall art that becomes part of your home and your story.

When it comes to family sessions, my approach is relaxed, fun, and a mix of posed portraits and documentary-style photography. I love capturing life as it happens—milestones, laughter, and those little moments you’ll want to remember forever. I also adore working with children and have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to make sure everyone enjoys the experience and we capture amazing images along the way.
